Terra Dunamis is focused on development and implementation of terrestrial technologies derived from research and development conducted for space applications under the Astra Dunamis banner. Terra Dunamis will also provide technical and general services to earth-based operations.
Cross-over technology for terrestrial blasting in extreme environments
One of the greatest returns humanity has received from reaching for the stars has been new innovative products that make life better, safer, and more productive here on Earth. From Velcro to food that can survive long term storage, we have all benefited from the new technologies researched with an eye toward life in space. We believe it to be no different with respect to explosives products and technologies. As we develop blasting and explosives products and technologies for use in space environments under the Astra Dunamis banner we will develop better products and processes for extreme Earth environments as well. We recognize that for every advancement, there is likely a parallel benefit that can be realized on Earth.
Leveraging our years of experience in terrestrial blasting, we will always work to develop products for use on Earth where necessary, reasonable, and practical with both goals clearly in mind.
Other earth-based technical services
In the future, Terra Dunamis will hopefully be able to offer additional technical and training services built on the foundations of our years of wide-ranging experience in the fields of blasting and explosives. Currently, due to probable conflicts of interest beyond our control, offering of some of these services must be limited, especially with respect to Pennsylvania-based companies and operators.
Preseed Funding
Dunamis A-T-G is currently seeking pre-seed support. We are actively developing core technology concepts, writing a base series of standards and proposed regulations for commercial applications of explosives in space environments, and seeking avenues to bring our work to the appropriate markets and organizations.
